Was and Were

Para hablar del pasado, podemos usar "was" y "were".

What was the weather like yesterday?
It was cloudy.

Where were you at 10 o'clock yesterday?
I was at school.

Where were you and your friends at half past eleven yesterday?

We were in the patio.  It was sunny.

Was it raining yesterday?  Yes, it was.
Was it snowing last week?  No, it wasn't.
