English Unit 4

En esta unidad vemos lo siguiente:

Vocabulario: 

--Wild animals: crocodile, elephant, giraffe, hippo lion, monkey, penguin, shark, whale, zebra. 

--Lo que hacen: beber agua, comer hierba, cazar animales, les gusta la fruta, vivir en grupo, dormir en los árboles.

Gramática:

--Preguntas y respuestas con Do (plural) y Does (tercera persona singular).

Do lions live on land?  Yes, they do.  
Do elephants eat meat? No, they don't.

Does a monkey like fruit?    Yes, it does.
Does a shark eat grass?      No, it doesn't.

--Frases afirmativas y negativas en plural y tercera persona singular.

Giraffes live in a group.         Sharks don't live on land.

A crocodile hunts animals.    A crocodile doesn't sleep in a tree.



¿Cómo estudiar?

Una vez que sabe asociar la palabra con su imagen, y identificar la imagen de forma oral se puede practicar la ortografía así:

--Practicar a mirar la palabra, taparla, intentar escribirla de memoria, y comprobarla.
--Mezclar las letras de la palabra y intentar ordenarlas

1. Potatoes, bread, cereals, and pasta

2. Fruits and vegetables

3. Fish, eggs, meat, beans and pulses

4. Milk and dairy

5. Oil and butter (and sweets)

The Digestive System

The Digestive System

Our digestive system has different parts: 
mouth, esophagus, stomach and intestine.

In your mouth, your teeth chew the food, and the tongue mixes it with saliva.

The food goes down a long tube called the esophagus.

The food goes into your stomach, which is like a bag.

The food goes into your intestine, where the nutrients pass into your blood.
